Hands-on exhibits are featured throughout its four-story 1890s building, which housed the world's first all-electric textile mill. Families with young children can learn and play together in the Stringer Discovery Center. The museum store, the Cotton Mill Exchange, offers merchandise in all price ranges. You'll find perfect gifts and mementos of your visit to the Palmetto State , and scrumptious snacks in the Crescent Cafe, such as the museum's fresh, on-site made fudge in dozens of flavors.
