BMW Charity Pro Am
The BMW Charity Pro-Am is the only tournament on the Nationwide® PGA TOUR where amateurs and celebrities are grouped with Nationwide PGA TOUR Professionals in a three-day better-ball competition. The tournament has one of the largest purses on the Nationwide Tour with a total purse of $700,000 and a winner's share of $126,000. Amateurs, celebrities and pros rotate between three courses - Thornblade Club (Greer, SC), The Carolina Country Club (Spartanburg, SC) and Bright's Creek Golf Club (Mill Spring, NC)- with the 14 lowest scoring pro-amateur/pro-celebrity teams advancing to play Sunday's final round at Thornblade Club.
Past celebrities include Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell, Catherine Bell, John Elway, Wayne Gretzky, George Lopez and Gary Player, among many others. Celebrities play once at each course.
