Let a fourth generation Charlestonian introduce you to one of the most charming and unique cities in the country. Mary Coy is a licensed city tour guide and has taught in a variety of settings, including museums, historic sites and classrooms. The two-hour stroll takes you through the historic district at a leisurely pace. A maximum of 12 people are allowed on each tour, allowing for a more personal and enjoyable experience. As you walk through the city streets, you will begin to share Coy's enthusiasm and passion for a place, a history and a culture that has been part of her family for more than 150 years. The tour originates at the Powder Magazine, 79 Cumberland St. at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Monday.
