See Clarendon County's 22 historic murals in Manning (7 murals), Paxville (1 mural), Summerton (8 murals) and Turbeville (6 murals). Murals depict the Swamp Fox, Francis Marion and the Battles of Fort Watson (new 3 murals in Summerton), Tearcoat, Half-Way Swamp, Wyboo Swamp, Patriots, Wagon Travel, Richbourg Mill, Citizen Soldier, Women in the Backcountry and Burning of Mouzon's (newest for Turbeville) of the American Revolutionary War in South Carolina. Check out the Francis Marion statue and historic marker about Murray's Ferry displayed on Courthouse Square in Manning.
