Chapin Labor Day Festival

This family-friendly event honors local firefighters. Begin your day at 8 am on a 5K Run/Walk at Crooked Creek Park, then head to Hwy 76 at Murray Lindler Rd. from 11am – 3pm for demonstrations, truck and equipment displays, food, drink and children’s activities. Festivities continue at 9pm on Sunday with fireworks at Crooked Creek Park. On Monday a parade begins on Columbia Avenue at 9:30am, followed by a festival at Chapin High School featuring children’s carnival rides, military displays, Ruritan/Sertoma Barbeque, food vendors, arts & crafts, animal petting zoo and live entertainment.
