Golf Schools
Even the best players have a coach or a teacher they can call when the swing gets off-track. So if you are ready to go back to school, golf school that is, you’ve come to the right place.
Welcome to premier golf, South Carolina-style. Today’s trend in golf instruction is the more personalized golf school. Throw in a video lesson, a couple rounds of golf and you are on your way. And figure the cost for a three- to four-day school to range from $300 to $3,000, depending upon the time of the year, where you stay and how much golf you can really play.
The first step in determining which school is right for you is to research, ask questions and feel free to phone an instructor or two; second tip, know your goals going in (i.e., break 100, meet new friends, visit the beach or qualify for the Tour); and finally, check and compare your budget, as some have hidden greens fees added or after-school hours playing lessons.
Between Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head Island there are more than 30 golf schools, some for juniors, and one for women-only.
