This three-day golf event has become the largest father and son golf tournament in the world. A 54-hole competition of Four Ball Stroke Play, Pinehurst Scotch and 2-Man Select Shot. The tournament is open to any father/son type relationship, from grandfathers and grandsons to uncles and nephews to fathers and sons-in-law. Each player receives a $200 Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore gift card in addition to their player gift package. Teams are flighted based on USGA handicap. "Sandbaggers" beware. The tournament committee will go to great lengths to protect the integrity of this event. Male amateur players of all ages can contest a FLIGHTED individual stroke play golf tournament at Kiawah's world-famous Ocean Course, as well as the Gary Player-designed Cougar Point Golf Course. Participants will also enjoy an outdoor, oceanfront dinner at The Sanctuary - hospitality suites and fabulous prizes. Non-golfing partners are welcome. There's much to enjoy at the resort besides golf, including The Spa at The Sanctuary.
Registration for each player includes a daily breakfast, the opening reception, a hospitality room for two nights, two golf rounds, a barbeque dinner (alcohol included) and the awards lunch. Guests will pair days of golf with nights of fine dining and intimate cooking demonstrations by some of America’s top chefs. Mealtimes will feature outstanding cuisine and advice by celebrity chefs including Ming Tsai and Sara Moulton who have popular shows on the Food Network. New this year, Tom Collichio of New York City’s Gramercy Tavern and Craft restaurants and is well known as head chef and judge on Bravo TV’s “Top Chef.” Also returning are Brett Reichler and Geoffrey Zakarian.

This annual tournament is played over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links and is the only PGA TOUR stop annually in South Carolina. The field is made up of the finest golfers in the world.
Harbour Town Golf Links was designed by Pete Dye in consultation with Jack Nicklaus and carries with it a bit of Scottish aire. As well as its noted historic significance, Harbour Town is recognized annually as one of America's top courses, and is repeatedly selected by the PGA TOUR professionals as one of their favorites.

Kiawah Island Golf Resort will test the strongest field in major championship golf in August 2012, selecting the course for the 94th PGA Championship. By being named to play host to the season's final major, the Pete Dye-designed oceanfront layout will become only the fourth course to host each of The PGA of America's major championships -- the Ryder Cup (1991), the Senior PGA Championship (2007) and the PGA Championship (2012).
