This three-day golf event has become the largest father and son golf tournament in the world. A 54-hole competition of Four Ball Stroke Play, Pinehurst Scotch and 2-Man Select Shot. The tournament is open to any father/son type relationship, from grandfathers and grandsons to uncles and nephews to fathers and sons-in-law. Each player receives a $200 Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore gift card in addition to their player gift package. Teams are flighted based on USGA handicap. "Sandbaggers" beware. The tournament committee will go to great lengths to protect the integrity of this event. This is more than just a golf tournament. It has been called the Mother of All Golf Tournaments and The World's Best Amateur Golf Tournament. All are well-deserved nicknames for the PGA TOUR Superstore World Amateur Handicap Championship. Celebrating its 25th year in 2008, the event will attract nearly 4,000 players from all 50 states and some 20 foreign countries for lots of fun, friendship, and most importantly, great golf. The four-day competition takes place on 70 of the Myrtle Beach area's championship courses.

The NKF Golf Classic is a national series of amateur golf tournaments benefiting the National Kidney Foundation. It is the largest amateur charity golf event in the world raising more than $6 million annually for the NKF. There are over 130 tournaments throughout the country, and the winners of each local event are invited to attend the National Finals at Pebble Beach Resorts in January.

$10,000 hole in one; $5,000 long putt; closest to the pin, long drive and most accurate drive contests. All proceeds support the Celebrate Freedom Foundation Scholarship Program.

This annual tournament is played over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links and is the only PGA TOUR stop annually in South Carolina. The field is made up of the finest golfers in the world.
Harbour Town Golf Links was designed by Pete Dye in consultation with Jack Nicklaus and carries with it a bit of Scottish aire. As well as its noted historic significance, Harbour Town is recognized annually as one of America's top courses, and is repeatedly selected by the PGA TOUR professionals as one of their favorites.

Kiawah Island Golf Resort will test the strongest field in major championship golf in August 2012, selecting the course for the 94th PGA Championship. By being named to play host to the season's final major, the Pete Dye-designed oceanfront layout will become only the fourth course to host each of The PGA of America's major championships -- the Ryder Cup (1991), the Senior PGA Championship (2007) and the PGA Championship (2012).
