Designed by Ron Garl, this challenging course in a beautiful and relaxing setting, is a favorite among local and visiting golfers. The 256-acre course is marked with numerous bunkers and water hazards, which provide nice challenges to men and women. Carved from naturally rolling, wooded terrain, the fairways are lined by towering oaks and pines. Flowering dogwoods and azaleas accent the course in season. The course winds through three counties in two states. Best Hole: No. 14, a 327-yard par-4 that plays downhill and right off the tee, then into a large green guarded by a pot bunker in front and large traps on the left. This hole tees off in Mecklenburg County, NC, and finishes in Lancaster County, SC.
