Built in 1925, Summerville's Miler Country Club is a step back in time. Short (6,037 yards) but tight with Bermuda fairways and Champion bermuda greens, the course was originally planned as a Pinehurst-like resort and still has that feel. Best Hole: No. 18, a par-5 with a lake cording a layup tee shot, then a 220-yard shot around a dogleg right to an elevated, bunkered green.
